Sarah Coventry was founded by Charles H. Stuart in 1949 and named for his granddaughter, Sarah. In 1975, Sarah Coventry designed the Miss Universe crown. Sarah jewelry encompasses a wide range of styles & quality. It was sold mostly at home parties or given as contestant gifts on game shows and at beauty pageants. This excellent marketing strategy made Sarah Coventry a household name. Home parties were discontinued in 1984 but started again in the 1990's. The weight and attention to detail were consistent throughout production until 1984 when it was sold to a Canadian company.
